I am with you always, to the end of the world.

God’s Word today is a promise from Jesus, to be with us forever. That’s a very serious promise! Sometimes people make promises to us, but for whatever reason, they can’t keep them. But the promise Jesus makes will never be broken, because the Spirit of Jesus is already deep in our hearts and will always be there. Nothing and no-one can ever take Jesus’ Spirit from us. One way of knowing that is by being quiet and still, and letting ourselves feel the warmth and peace of His Spirit in our hearts.
Jesus’ Spirit is always with us on our journey, in the love and care we give to and receive from others, and in the beauty and glory of all God’s creation . . . always.
