Standing for the King before the king

Some thoughts related to selected verses from Acts 26 and 27; the apostle Paul defending himself before Festus and King Agrippa.

Jesus told Paul that he was rescuing him from both the Jews and the gentiles.

He was sending him to open their eyes.

He was turning them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan to the power of God, so they may receive forgiveness of sins, and the inheritance of eternal life.

The Jews were waiting for their Messiah, and they had missed him!  Luke 3:15, John 4:25

Two questions:

  1. Do we know this Jesus?
  2. Are we prepared to work for him until he comes?

Psalm 90 verse 12: Teach us to number our days that we may gain a heart of wisdom.
