From the Darkness of a Cave to the Praise of God’s Glory
Psalm 57
David finds himself in a cave, hiding from Saul, his pursuer.
What is he feeling as he hides there in the darkness?
What emotions do we feel when we are trapped in a life situation from which there seems to be no escape?
David knew who his helper, his protection and his deliverance was – GOD!
Once he was able to get his focus back on the One who was willing and able to be his source of contentment,
He could once again rejoice and give praise to his Heavenly Father.
“Be exalted O God, above the heavens! Let your glory be over all the earth!”
God delights to glorify himself in the deliverance of his people.
