It has been about 2000 years since Jesus left the earth and the angels promised He would return in the same manner.Through it, each generation has been praying “Your kingdom come, on earth as it is in heaven.” We desire and pray for the kingdom of heaven to be on earth just as it is in heaven but what does that mean?Jesus gave His early disciples a very simple but life changing message about how to bring His kingdom to this earth, but somehow and somewhere along the way we have become distracted. The message today is about our need to refocus on the mission Jesus gave His followers to accomplish.
#1. Follow Christ’s example in loving our neighbors and families.
#2. Reaching out to the lost world with practical love for the poor, the sick, the needy by showing them Jesus.
#3. Making choices to change our own lives to be more like Christ.
