We are called as Christians to serve one another. We are all called to serve as Jesus served. The servant theme is so very clear in scripture..
For even the Son of Man did not come to be served but to serve. Mark 10:45
So long as it is day we must do the work of God who sent Me. John 9:4
For who is greater the one who sits at the table or the one that serves? is it not the one who sits at the table? But I am among you as one who serves. Matthew 20:28
May each of us interpret this spiritual reflection as it applies to our lives as followers of Jesus, knowing that He came to serve not be served, and let us pray and meditate on how we might improve the giving to others of our time, our gifts and talents, and the Love of God that abides in each of us.
