As we turn now toward Easter and celebrate what our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ has done for us, I want us to focus on the phrase found in Matthew 28:6, when the angel said to the women who had come to the tomb early that first Easter Sunday morning, “He is not here; He has risen just as He said.” Amazing! We serve a risen Saviour who has conquered over sin, death and the grave. He has done this for us. This one truth about our resurrected LORD changed the course of human history. It has changed our lives as well. So come to church Easter Sunday morning! When you hear the church bells ringing on April 20, come and celebrate the victory of eternal life that Jesus gives to all who follow Him.
