Mark 11:1–26 records key events from the final week of Jesus’ earthly ministry, offering lessons for believers through four main themes – Celebration, Cursing, Corruption, and Calling.
Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem fulfilled prophecy and celebrated Him as King, though many misunderstood His mission;
His cursing of the fig tree symbolized Israel’s failure to bear spiritual fruit;
His cleansing of the temple revealed God’s judgment on corrupted worship;
and His teaching on prayer called His disciples to live by faith, forgiveness, and dependence on God’s power.
Together, these accounts remind Christians to honor Christ as King, bear spiritual fruit, guard against selfish corruption, and trust God to work through prayerful, obedient lives.
